Å in Lofoten

Å in Lofoten
A place of history, roots and strong memories. Å in Lofoten is the old fishing village where my grandparents met, and where my mother grew up. For me, the place is therefor more than a beautiful subjekct - it`s a part of my own history. Painted with love for the landscape, the light and the history embedded in its buildings.

Skottind - Ballstad

Skottind - Ballstad
Skottind rises above the landscape near Ballstad - a mountain shaped by weather, light, and time. In this painting, i have sought to capture the atmosphere of the winter mountains, where the shades of blue meet the snow and the landscape becomes rigged and serene.
